Today in 2015 it is a much different world than it was just 20-30 years ago; whether you are talking about technology, economics, politics, way of life, marketing, purchasing habits it is all relevant. One thing that has dramatically changed is how we purchase items and how we choose what we buy.  When you sit down and watch TV a brand that is selling "lettuce" is telling you why they are the product you want to buy, if you open a magazine there is a glossy ad showcasing their brand of "lettuce", the radio blares and company XYZ is explaining the pro's of the "lettuce" lettuce they sell. So if you have an infinite amount of companies out their trying to sell you their "lettuce" how do you choose which one to buy; it all tastes the same, smells the same, and makes the same dishes. It's just a vegetable right? Maybe, just maybe company XYZ is organically grown, maybe another company has a guarantee of satisfaction, the other has personalized "lettuce" pickers just for you. You diligently read through all of your reviews, talk with friends, watch a few YouTube video, and hit up a few "lettuce" forums to find out the best fit for you. You go to the store, pick up the one you have finally decided on, take it home and prepare your salad, when you finally sit down to experience a salad made from that "lettuce";  it is the most delicious thing you have ever had. But what if you could have had a salad made of the "lettuce" that was a hybrid of all of those?

 Insurance is very similar to "lettuce" believe it or not. Every day you have a lizard, Flo, a general, Mayhem, or Pedro Serano (yes he is the Allstate guy) telling you why you should buy their insurance. They constantly are telling you about their low pricing, diminishing deductible, Jake's khakis, or how great they are in order for you to buy, buy, buy! Not a single one of those companies is adding value to what they are selling. Don't get me wrong we all have to make a living some way or another, but shouldn't it be more about treating the policyholder in the most excellent way possible, giving them the correct coverage for their current needs, and trying to do so with their pockets in mind; otherwise all they are selling is just "lettuce".

From the time our doors opened we have operated in a fashion where our policyholders come first and we treat them by the Golden Rule as well as going above and beyond the expectations they have. Most of you won't notice that your phone call gets answered in less than 3 rings... always, a voicemail gets returned in less than 15 min... always, we remember your life events and family... always, if you walk into one of our offices you can sit down and talk to us about anything from your policy to your latest vacation... always. These are just a few examples of what goes into what happens when you are a clients of LHIG; it is not meant to seem that we train ourselves to be this way, it's just who we are. Every single employee of our business has a genuine care, moral, and ethical concern for every person that walks through our doors. We don't view going to work as being "work", we all love this business, we have a passion for it and our passion is exemplified day in and day out to our policyholders. I could sit here and tell you we are the cheapest in town, have the best product in the country, and you will get to see catchy ad's on TV, but that's exactly what I won't do.


If you call or stop in to one of our offices you will get an honest straight forward answer every single time. Yes we have very competitive pricing that many times is less than our competition, but not always. We will tell you what coverage's you should have and express our concern when you choose differently. We wont twist your arm to buy anything off of us, we will explain all of the pro's and con's but we will never push you. You will always speak to a live person not just a robot and we end up speaking more as friends than just your insurance agent. We will never hide behind a computer and say that we are "busy. You will get the best policies we have to offer, expect nothing less. Yes, we just sell "lettuce", but when you deal with our agency you are not getting just "lettuce". You are getting the best "lettuce" we have to offer every time and you are getting our 110% from every employee every single time you deal with us. We love this business and we love our clients, we are a family run business, family style office that will allow you to walk away comforted and happy. This I promise you, will continue and be what you experience for as long as you are a LHIG policyholder.
